SMT GB Hosts Two Day Dynapac SD25 Paver Launch Event

SMT GB proudly welcomed customers, partners, and colleagues to a two‑day showcase event on 5–6 March, marking the official UK launch of the Dynapac SD25 70W paver. The event – split between Hinxton Hall Hotel and SMT Duxford – combined machine demonstrations, factory‑led technical briefings, customer networking and exclusive behind‑the‑scenes access to SMT’s operations.

A formal dinner was hosted on Thursday 5th March, beginning with a drink’s reception and the dramatic SD25 reveal, which fostered valuable networking between customers, factory teams, SMT and Dynapac staff. Guests were among the first in the UK to explore the latest generation of Dynapac paving technology, designed to deliver improved precision, smarter operation and greater serviceability for operators.

On the morning of Friday 6th March, guests were invited inside SMT’s warehouse and service facilities for an exclusive tour, gaining insight into the logistics, servicing and aftersales support that SMT provides across Great Britain. There was the opportunity for a full walkaround of the SD25 and an operational demonstration showcasing the machine in action. This was accompanied by a product deep‑dive, exploring the paver’s design, operational advantages and new smart‑control features.

Specialists from Dynapac’s Wardenburg factory in Germany provided technical insights into the SD25’s engineering, walking guests through the innovations behind the new model, from efficiency to comfort and more intuitive controls for operators.

Nexus & DynaLink Connectivity – Enhancing fleet management, machine monitoring and performance tracking. Filter Relocation – Improving serviceability, allowing much easier access for technicians. Advanced Screed Functionality – Automatic height adjustment, improving ease of use for operators.

 

The two‑day showcase of the Dynapac SD25 70W not only introduced a next‑generation paver but also strengthened relationships across the industry.
